Tolerance Guidelines
NetProto follows standard commercial injection molding tolerances unless tighter tolerances are specified and approved in writing. The table is a general reference for non-critical dimensions. Actual achievable tolerances may vary by material, part geometry, wall thickness, shrinkage, mold design, gate location, warpage risk, and inspection method.
Critical dimensions should be shown on a 2D drawing or inspection plan. Snap fits, threads, sealing surfaces, and assembly interfaces should be reviewed before tooling begins. Tighter tolerances may require engineering review, tooling adjustment, process validation, or additional inspection cost.
